One Time - Building Our Legacy Campaign

This option allows you to give a One-Time payment of the amount you want into the Building Our Legacy Campaign fund. Thank you for your contributions to this campaign.

At the Cocalico Care Center, a ministry of St. John's UCC, celebrating its 35th anniversary, we have embarked on a Legacy campaign to improve the Care Center and Church property.

• The completion of a necessary water management program that will address past sinkhole issues and allow for the best use of the Church and Care Center property.
• Modifying the future water retention area so that part of it can serve as a memory garden, a place of peace and meditation.
• Add a hard surface bike, or trike track to enter the childcare center's outdoor play area.
• Building a permanent pavilion structure with a kitchen that would replace our aging food trailer. This would allow us to continue the monthly steak sale and hold other outdoor events.
• Retiring the building mortgage to allow the revenue generated from the care center and other fundraisers to go directly toward mission outreach and property and program improvements.

The goal of $320,000 is half of what is estimated to be achieved for the above projects. When the goal is reached this amount will be matched by the St. John's UCC Foundation, an investment fund held by the church. Only when the goals is reached will we begin the new projects. These plans do not include incurring future debt.
